Andrew Thomson

With 18 years of experience in the apparel and footwear industry, I have held a number of senior customer facing and operational roles. This diverse experience has proven invaluable as part of my e-commerce journey. In 2005 I joined Pentland, a global brand management business in sports, outdoor and fashion lifestyle. In 2009 I led a project on behalf of Pentland to launch multiple Lacoste transactional sites in Europe and China. Over the next 5 years I relentlessly focused on growing sales, product awareness and customer engagement. I made some mistakes, learnt from these and then used the learnings to improve every aspect of the business. As Group Digital Director for Pentland I am now responsible for supporting the digital ambitions of brands such as Speedo, Berghaus, Canterbury and Heidi Klein.
