Kate Simon

As Group Marketing Director for blinkbox Kate is responsible for marketing strategy across blinkbox Movies and TV, blinkbox Books and blinkbox Music. This includes customer acquisition, CRM, partner marketing, PR, customer care, customer insight & analysis and the technology to support across all functions. Kate is also tasked with driving growth of active Tesco customers at scale through various touch points including stores, colleagues, data, multichannel assets and platforms, products and services and the migration from physical to digital products and services. Kate is also responsible for leading the application of customer insight across the business and helping to ensure that the customer sits ‘at the heart’ of business decisions on going. Kate joined blinkbox in December 2011 from Home Retail Group where she headed up Multi-channel for Argos. Kate has over 17 years of marketing, digital & CRM experience across a variety of market sectors on both agency & client-side. The last 10 years of Kate’s career has been focused on helping businesses become ‘customer-centric’, most notably helping lead the business transformation at Dixons and prior to that at Global Media
